FARMINGTON — The University of Maine Cooperative Extension will offer a presentation on harvesting and drying garlic at 5 p.m. Monday, Aug. 6, at the Hope Harvest Garden, 11 Franklin Health Commons.

This is a hands-on opportunity to see how this tasty and healthful crop is harvested.

UMaine Extension garlic expert David Fuller and Laura Quynn of the Healthy Community Coalition, will demonstrate the details of harvesting and drying of garlic. This program is designed for growers of all experience levels, including commercial growers.
