LEXINGTON — A public dedication of the new Raised Bed Herb Garden is set for 10 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 4, at the Lexington/Highland Historical Museum on the Long Falls Dam Road.

The late Laura Emery Dunham will be honored at this memorial. She was a dedicated correspondent of the Morning Sentinel in Waterville and the Original Irregular in Kingfield, and supported the historical society in numerous ways.

Naming this herb garden after Dunham represents her devotion to small town values, and is a tribute to a life well-lived. Noon refreshments will be served.
