The Temple Historical Society will sponsor a gathering of Temple residents, past and present, from noon to 3 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 18, at the Town Hall on Temple Road; rain or shine.

Those who attend can visit with neighbors, friends, summer/camp friends; old classmates, older families who grew up in Temple, share stories, meet new families who have moved here, and make new friends.

Bring a picnic lunch and dessert, bottled water will be provided. Entertainment will be provided by the Spoon Band with Bill Hoyt and Lori Grassette. The playground will be available and there will be games for the children and their parents.

The Historical Room will be open from 1 to 3 p.m., members of the historical society will be available to talk about Temple and its history and to assist in finding information requested. Those who choose are welcome to bring photos or information about Temple to share.

The 2019 Temple Historical Society Calendar “Remember When?” will be on sale that day for $10.
