After winning the June 12 Democratic Primary with 80 percent of the vote, House District 88 candidate Chloe Maxmin will launch her general election campaign from 4 to 6 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 18, at the North Nobleboro Community Center, 554 Upper East Pond Road, Nobleboro. The event will feature Matt Dunlap, former executive director of the Sportsman’s Alliance of Maine, and the local band, The Leopard Girls. Food and refreshments will be provided.
Maxmin was raised on her family’s farm in Nobleboro and began her campaign in February. Both Dunlap and Maxmin will speak.
