AUGUSTA — A Belgrade man was indicted on 21 counts, primarily burglary and theft charges, by a Kennebec County grand jury sitting at the Capital Judicial Center Thursday.

Kegan Y. Barrett, 30, was indicted on five counts of burglary, 11 counts of theft, three counts of burglary of a motor vehicle and two counts of criminal mischief.

The incidents occurred between June 1 and August 12, in the towns of Belgrade and Rome.

Items allegedly taken by Barrett included a television, cooler, tools, knives, iPods, a backpack, paddle boards, a speaker, a grill, diesel fuel, chainsaws, a generator and binoculars, according to the indictment.

An indictment is not a determination of guilt, but it indicates there is enough evidence to proceed with formal charges and a trial.

Michael Reyes, 32, of New York City, three counts of unlawful trafficking in heroin and fentanyl, Sept. 18 in Gardiner, Oct 23 in Randolph and Oct. 26 in Augusta, and one count of unlawful trafficking in cocaine Oct. 26 in Augusta.

• Gerard Cormier, 35, of Augusta, one count of aggravated trafficking in cocaine base, June 14 in Augusta, one count of unlawful trafficking in cocaine base June 14 in Augusta, one count of unlawful trafficking in cocaine, Aug. 27 in Augusta, possession of a firearm by a prohibited person, between July 28 and Aug. 2, and unlawful possession of cocaine, Aug. 27 in Augusta.

• William Seabron, 27, of Augusta, two counts of aggravated trafficking in cocaine, June 22 in Augusta and June 28 in Gardiner, and two counts of aggravated trafficking in heroin, June 22 in Augusta and June 28 in Gardiner.

• Austin Bond, 28, of Jefferson, two counts of unlawful trafficking in heroin, June 22 in Augusta and June 28 in Gardiner, and two counts of unlawful trafficking in cocaine, June 22 in Augusta and June 28 in Gardiner.

• Evan M. Benner, 28, of Waldoboro, two counts of unlawful possession of scheduled drugs, containing heroin, and criminal operating under the influence, Sept. 1 in Windsor.

• Dylan S. Karczewski, 25, of Augusta, stealing drugs, robbery, and violation of condition of release, Sept. 9 in Augusta.

• Raymond Higgins, 64, of Belgrade, unlawful possession of scheduled drugs, containing oxycodone, March 30 in Chelsea.

Also indicted by the grand jury were:

• Chad D. Blethen, 39, of Sidney, attempted theft by insurance deception between Nov. 4, 2017 and Nov. 7, 2017, in Sidney.

• Devan Bryant, 22, of Clinton, theft, criminal mischief, failure to stop for an officer, and operating after suspension, Sept. 17 in Oakland.

• Ariana L. Doherty, 32, of Augusta, domestic violence assault Sept. 15 in Hallowell.

• Jesse L. Gray, 43, of Windsor, domestic violence stalking, between July 1 and Sept. 12 in Winthrop, and burglary, criminal mischief, criminal trespass and theft, Sept. 1 in Winthrop.

• Nastasha Megan Massey, 34, of Chelsea, theft, between July 7 and July 28 in Augusta.

• Amanda Marie Merry, 35, of Norridgewock, theft, July 18 in Waterville.

• Christopher Ellis Williams, 27, of Augusta, burglary and theft, Sept. 12 in Augusta.
