Good Shepherd Food Bank’s Food Mobile will distribute food from 10:30 a.m. to noon Wednesday, Jan. 16, at the Whitefield Lions Club, 52 Main St., Coopers Mills.

Food offerings will include fresh produce, meat and non-perishable items for people struggling with keeping healthy food on the table. Anyone in need of emergency food assistance is welcome to attend. The only information required is the number of people in the household.

Good Shepherd Food Bank’s Food Mobile program allows it to expand its outreach to Maine’s neediest and most-underserved communities. Designed to be a low-barrier distribution, its food mobile visits communities with a demand for emergency and supplemental food that has outgrown the capacity of local food pantries.

This distribution has been made possible through the generosity of the Elizabeth Ann Leach Charitable Trust.
