READFIELD — Mitchell Root scored 19 points and Duncan Rogers added 15 to lead the Maranacook boys basketball team to a 93-47 win over Belfast in a Kennebec Valley Athletic Conference game Friday night.

Thirteen different players scored in the victory for the Black Bears (14-2).

Jason Bartlett scored 14 points to lead the Lions (2-14).

FOREST HILLS 84, TEMPLE 50: Parker Desjardins had 28 points, six assists and seven steals to lead the Tigers to the win in Jackman.

Hunter Cuddy added 19 points for Forest Hills (17-0) while Jakob Rivas chipped in 13 points and Dalton Gregoire hauled in 14 rebounds.

Temple (11-5) was led by Nicholas Blaisdell with 12 points.

ERSKINE 53, MOUNT VIEW 37: Braden Soule scored 13 points and Jakob Mills added 11 as the Eagles prevailed in Thorndike.

Mills also grabbed nine rebounds for Erskine (11-6).

Brennan Grant scored 12 points to lead the Mustangs (1-15).

EDWARD LITTLE 82, MESSALONSKEE 40: Wol Maiwen scored a game-high 25 points and Austin Brown added 13 as the Red Eddies cruised in a KVAC game in Oakland.

Storm Jipson scored 12 points for EL (14-2) as well.

Mason Violette scored a team-high 11 points for Messalonskee (8-8).

LAWRENCE 73, GARDINER 47: Kobe Nadeau led three players in double figures with 19 points as the Bulldogs rolled to the KVAC A victory in Fairfield.

Adam Duprey scored 17 points and Nick Robertson added 13 for Lawrence (9-7).

Logan Carleton scored 15 points to pace the Tigers (2-14).

RANGELEY 53, BUCKFIELD 38: Nolan Boone connected on 12 field goals on his way to 31 points to lead the Lakers to the win.

Leonardo Perez chipped in eight points for Rangeley.

Buckfield was paced by Noah Wiley’s nine points.

GIRLS BASKETBALL

RANGELEY 43, BUCKFIELD 23: Brooke Egan and Olivia Pye each scored 14 points as the Lakers rolled in Rangeley.

Winnie LaRochelle had seven points and rebounds for the Lakers (15-1) as well.

Buckfield dropped to 9-8.

ERSKINE 50, MOUNT VIEW 29: Emily Clark scored 16 points to lead the Eagles to the KVAC win in South China.

Jordan Linscott added 15 points for Erskine (9-8), which broke open a close game with an 18-point fourth quarter.

Hannah Coolen poured in a game-high 18 points for Mount View (4-12).

HALL-DALE 49, RICHMOND 45: Iris Ireland had 14 points and 15 rebounds to lead the Bulldogs to the Mountain Valley Conference win in Farmingdale.

Seniors Olivia Bourque had seven points and five assists and Grace Begin added six points and five rebounds on senior night for the Bulldogs (11-6). KK Wills scored a 19 points.

Richmond (8-9) was led by Hannah Moholland with 19 points, Macy Carver with 14 and Bryanne Lancaster with 12.

MT. ABRAM 41, TELSTAR 29: Senior guard Summer Ross drained 17 points as Mt. Abram pulled away in the fourth quarter for a triumph over Telstar.

The Roadrunners (6-11) stepped up their offense with an 18-4 run in the fourth quarter. Junior forward Kaylee Knight contributed 13 points for Mt. Abram in the winning effort.

Junior forward Luci Rothwell led Telstar (3-14) with 12 points.

CARRABEC 48, MADISON 43: Cheyenne Cahill’s 20 points powered the Cobras to the MVC win in Madison.

Courtney Rollins added 12 points for Carrabec (6-11).

Katie Worthen led Madison (5-11) with 13 points, while Emily Edgerly added 10 points and seven rebounds.
