ARRESTS

IN AUGUSTA, Monday at 5:09 p.m., Karen J. Lea, 43, of Augusta, was arrested on a charge of theft by unauthorized taking, elevated by two prior convictions, following a report of shoplifting on Civic Center Drive.

IN CHINA, Monday at 7:41 p.m., Gisele T. Girard, 57, of China, was arrested on a charge of operating under the influence, elevated by one prior conviction, following an incident on Lakeview Drive.

IN AUGUSTA, Monday at 6:34 a.m., a 53-year old Vassalboro man was issued a summons on a charge of operating while his license was suspended or revoked after a car accident near Memorial Drive and East Crescent Street.

12:13 p.m., a 50-year old Thorndike man was issued a summons on a charge of operating while his license was suspended or revoked during a traffic stop on Northern Avenue.

1:18 p.m., a 31-year old Gardiner man was issued a summons for leaving the scene of an accident following a reported hit-and-run accident on Western Avenue.

3:07 p.m., a 60-year old Whitefield woman was issued a summons for operating a motor vehicle with a registration expired for more than 150 days during a traffic stop on Cony Street.
