FARMINGTON — A Dallas Plantation man’s sentencing was delayed Thursday for one year after he pleaded guilty to sex offense and domestic violence charges in Franklin County Superior Court.

Bradley Kennett (Franklin County Detention Center)

Bradley A. Kennett Sr., 63, represented by attorney Walter Hanstein, pleaded guilty to misdemeanor charges of unlawful sexual contact, domestic violence assault, unlawful sexual touching and criminal restraint. A conviction on each charge carries a maximum 364 days in prison.

According to a complaint filed with the court, the victim had not expressly or implicitly acquiesced to the sexual contact or sexual touching on Aug. 26, 2018. The offenses happened in a town other than Dallas Plantation.

Kennett restrained the victim, according to the complaint.

Kennett is required to complete tasks outlined in a one-year delayed sentencing agreement.

If he successfully completes the agreement, he will be able to withdraw his plea to the unlawful sexual contact charge, but the other charges will remain.
