SOUTH CHINA — Jordan Linscott scored six goals to spark Erskine to an 11-9 win over Boothbay in girls lacrosse action Thursday.

Liz Sugg added two goals for the Eagles (5-1) while Alyssa Savage, Joanna Linscott and Kassidy Wade had one apiece. Ashlyn Wing made nine saves.

Reagents Cola had four goals for Boothbay (3-3) while Cortney Meader and Chloe Arsenault had two apiece.




CONY 4, HAMPDEN 1: Eli Bezanson had four hits to lead the Rams to a Kennebec Valley Athletic Conference Class A win in Hampden.

Dakota Andow had two hits, including a double, for Cony (6-4).

The Rams scored three runs in the fifth inning, thanks to RBI singles from Bezanson, Riley Geyer and Kyle Douin.

Jackson Thayer had a double for Hampden (8-2).


MARANACOOK 6, WINSLOW 4: The Black Bears jumped out to a two-run lead and then held on for the KVAC B win in Winslow.

Duncan Rogers and Mitch Root each doubled and singled for Maranacook (10-1) while Wyatt Lambert added two singles.

Cody Ivey, Cam Winslow and Justin LaFlamme had two singles apiece for Winslow (3-6).


MOUNTAIN VALLEY 5, MT. ABRAM 3: The Falcons scored four runs in the sixth inning to earn the Mountain Valley Conference win in Rumford.

Garrett Garbarini and Dylan Desroches each doubled for the Falcons (8-3).

Kenyon Pillsbury had two hits for the Roadrunners (4-6).


MEDOMAK VALLEY 4, GARDINER 1: Eli McCollett had a pair of hits as the Panthers, who scored all of their runs in the sixth inning, earned the KVAC B win in Gardiner.

Clayton Belcher, Andrew Pruell and Ryan Creamer combined on a five-hitter for Medomak Valley (8-3). Gabe Allaire had a double for the only extra-base hit in the game.

Alex Grover had two hits for Gardiner (3-8).




MOUNTAIN VALLEY 21, MT. ABRAM 3, 5 innings: Audra Bean was a home run away from the cycle, collecting three RBIs in the Falcons’ MVC win in Rumford.

Karizma Chickering also had three RBIs as she had a pair of hits for Mountain Valley (2-9). Leigha Carrier added two singles and two RBI in the win.

Emma Root and Haley Bate each had singles for Mt. Abram (1-8).




GARDINER 16, WESTBROOK 5: Tanner Hebert scored four goals and Cody Rizzo had three goals to lead the Tigers to a win over the Blue Blazes in Gardiner.

Matt Boynton, Sean Michaud, Jake Weston, Garrett Hinckley and Jared Shaw each had two goals for Gardiner (5-2).

Josh Bedrick had two goals for Westbrook (6-5).
