WINSLOW —  Kalli Thompson had 17 points and 18 rebounds to lead the Waterville girls basketball team to a 53-41 win over Winslow on Thursday night.

Kiera Gilman also scored 18 points for the Purple Panthers (7-2).

Bodhi Littlefield had a game-high 25 points for the Black Raiders (0-3).

 

OXFORD HILLS 54, MT. BLUE 35: Cassidy Dumont led the Vikings with 17 points in a win in Paris.

Brooklyn Alexander chipped in with 16 points for Oxford Hills (2-0).

Eva Stevens had 12 points for Mt. Blue (0-4).

BOYS BASKETBALL

 

FOREST HILLS 89, VALLEY 43: Parker Desjardins had 48 points, 12 rebounds, five assists and five steals to lead the Tigers to the win in Bingham.

Mason Desjardins added 12 points for Forest Hills (6-1) while Braidan Welch had nine.

Valley (1-5) was led by Brody Ricker with 11 points and Thomas Bishop and Kayden Cool with eight points each.

OAK HILL 47, MONMOUTH 42: Gavin Rawston scored 12 of his team-high 13 points in the second half and Oak Hill stayed ahead after a slow start to win in Wales.

Ramon Spearman added 12 for the Raiders, who held the Mustangs to just three points in the second quarter after trailing 14-12 at the end of the first. Alex Fournier and Jackson Arbour both scored nine points for Oak Hill.

Hayden Fletcher scored a game-high 14 points for Monmouth, including eight in the fourth quarter when the Mustangs were able to get within a single possession. Manny Calder added 12 and TJ Lewis scored eight.

 

HALL-DALE 70, CARRABEC 63: TJ Wilson scored 22 points to lead the Bulldogs to a win over the Cobras in North Anson.

Max Byron scored 13 points, while Jackson Leach added 11 points for Hall-Dale.

Luke Carey led Carrabec with 33 points, while Dan Handley added 11 points.

 

BOYS HOCKEY

 

MESSALONSKEE 5, KENNEBEC 4: The Eagles scored four second-period goals to earn a victory over the RiverHawks.

Grayson Podey, Jack Hammond, Will Durkee, Andrew Beckwith and Bryce Crowell each scored for Messalonskee (1-0-0). Durkee added two assists and Giovanni Caccamo made 32 saves.

Brandon Mason scored twice for Kennebec while Nate Newgard and Justin Bolduc had the other goals. Nate Newgard and Jared Newgard added two assists apiece. Adam Sirois made 24 saves.
