COLUMBUS, Ohio — Hunter Dickinson had 22 points and nine rebounds and Eli Brooks scored 17 as No. 3 Michigan held off a late flurry to beat No. 4 Ohio State 92-87 Sunday.

In a matchup of teams aiming for No. 1 seeds in the NCAA Tournament, the Wolverines led by nine with 23 seconds left. But a pair of 3-pointers from Duane Washington Jr. around a layup by CJ Walker got the Buckeyes within three points with 3 seconds to go.

Brooks sealed the win with a couple of foul shots.

Chaundee Brown Jr. came off the bench to score 15 points and Isaiah Livers added 12 for the Wolverines (16-1, 11-1 Big Ten). Michigan won its fifth straight around a three-week break because of COVID-19 issues.

Washington scored a career-high 30 points and went 5 for 10 on 3s for Ohio State (18-5, 12-5). E.J. Liddell had 23 points to go along with 10 rebounds.

(6) HOUSTON 90, CINCINNATI 52: Quentin Grimes had 20 points and eight rebounds, and the Cougars (18-3, 12-3 American Athletic) rolled past the Bearcats (7-8, 5-5) in Houston.

(11) IOWA 74, PENN STATE 68: Luka Garza scored 23 points to become Iowa’s all-time leading scorer, and the Hawkeyes (17-6, 11-5 Big Ten) turned back the visiting Nittany Lions (7-12, 4-11).

Garza has 2,126 career points, breaking the record of 2,116 points set by Roy Marble from 1985-89.

(21) WISCONSIN 68, NORTHWESTERN 51: Micah Potter scored 19 points to lead the Badgers (16-8, 10-7 Big Ten) past the Wildcats (6-14, 3-13) in Evanston, Illinois.

SOUTHERN MAINE 62, UNE 50: Trevor Ward converted an offensive rebound with less than a second remaining to give the Huskies (2-0) a win over the Nor’easters (0-2) in Gorham.

USM rallied from a nine-point deficit in the last eight minutes, using a 17-7 run to take the lead. A 3-pointer by Keenan Hendricks put the Huskies ahead 60-58 before UNE’s Avery DeBrito tied it with a layup.

Hendricks led the Huskies with 17 points. Derek Haney added 15, Marcus Christopher had 12 points and 21 rebounds, and Ward also finished with 12 points.

Alex Kravchuk scored 21 points and Jordan Bagshaw had 13 for UNE.

WOMEN’S BASKETBALL

(2) SOUTH CAROLINA 76, (17) KENTUCKY 55: Zia Cooke scored 21 points and the Gamecocks (18-3, 13-1 Southeastern Conference) got back on track after their first conference loss in two seasons, beating the visiting Wildcats (15-6, 8-5).

FLORIDA STATE 68, (3) LOUISVILLE 59: Morgan Jones scored 26 points and pulled down 10 rebounds to lead the Seminoles (9-6, 8-6 Atlantic Coast) to an upset over the Cardinals (20-2, 13-2) in Tallahassee, Florida.

(4) NORTH CAROLINA STATE 82, NORTH CAROLINA 63: Jakia Brown-Turner scored a career-high 25 points to help the Wolfpack (15-2, 10-2 Atlantic Coast) avenging an earlier loss to the visiting Tar Heels (11-9, 6-9).

(5) TEXAS A&M 66, MISSISSIPPI 55: Kayla Wells had 18 points and eight rebounds and the Aggies (20-1, 11-1 Southeastern Conference) pulled away in the fourth quarter against the Rebels (9-9, 3-11) at Oxford, Mississippi.

(7) BAYLOR 77, OKLAHOMA 66: Dijonai Carrington scored 19 points, and the Bears (17-2, 12-1 Big 12) broke away from a halftime tie to beat the Sooners (8-10, 5-8) in Norman, Oklahoma.

OREGON STATE 71, (8) UCLA 64: Aleah Goodman scored 20 points, Taylor Jones posted her fifth double-double of the season and the Beavers (8-6, 6-6 Pac-12) upset the Bruins (13-4, 11-4) in Los Angeles.

(11) MICHIGAN 75, (15) OHIO STATE 66: Naz Hillmon scored 27 points as the Wolverines (13-2, 8-2 Big Ten) defeated the Buckeyes (13-4, 9-4) in Ann Arbor, Michigan.

(13) OREGON 72, USC 48: Sydney Parrish hit four 3-pointers and scored 17 points off the bench, and the Ducks (13-7, 10-6 Pac-12) ended a three-game losing streak by defeating the Trojans (10-10, 8-9) in Los Angeles.

(18) ARKANSAS 74, LSU 64: Destiny Slocum scored 29 points, Chelsea Dungee added 20 and the Razorbacks (17-7, 7-6 Southeastern Conference) beat the Tigers (8-11, 6-7) in Baton Rouge, Louisiana.

(22) GEORGIA 57, (21) TENNESSEE 55: Gabby Connally scored 24 points, Jordan Isaacs blocked a last-second shot and the Bulldogs (17-4, 9-4 Southeastern Conference) completed their first season-sweep of the visiting Vols (13-6, 7-4) in 36 years.

UNE 2, SOUTHERN MAINE 1: Eryn Taber and Carolyn Curley scored less than two minutes apart midway through the third period as the Nor’easters (2-0) rallied past the Huskies (1-2) in Biddeford.
