The Press Herald Maine Voices Live series continues with what will surely be a fascinating conversation with musician, activist and educator Cidny Bullens. Bullens has also earned two Grammy nominations, for the debut album “Desire Wire” and as lead vocalist on a track on the “Grease” soundtrack. In 2011, Bullens transitioned from Cindy to Cidny and uses male pronouns. In 2016, he wrote a one-person show about his life called “Somewhere Between: Not an Ordinary Life,” which he’s performed in four states. Last year, Bullens released the album “Walkin’ Through This World,” and he’ll have his acoustic guitar on hand to play a song or two from it. Bullens will be interviewed by Portland Press Herald writer Aimsel Ponti.
