Camden Public Library is playing virtual host to midcoast artist and author Maureen Egan’s show “By the Waters of the Winds.” You’ll see paintings born out of a pair of hikes in Wyoming’s Wind River Range. Hop online anytime this month to view the gallery. At 6 p.m. on March 11, you can join a Zoom program featuring a talk and screening of a film made by Egan and her husband Tim Seymore about their 2019 hiking trip. The Franco-American Collection at the University of Southern Maine, Lewiston-Auburn College continues its series Making the Invisible Visible: Bringing a Franco-American Perspective to the Stage & Page, with celebrated author, humorist and playwright Susan Poulin. Poulin, known for her hilarious alter ego Ida LeClair, will combine performance, reflection and laughs into her afternoon presentation. LeClair has written 11 plays, and her books include “Finding Your Inner Moose: Ida LeClair’s Guide to Living the Good Life.”

The Press Herald Maine Voices Live series continues with what will surely be a fascinating conversation with musician, activist and educator Cidny Bullens. During a career that has spanned more than four decades, Bullens has toured with Elton John and has worked with Bob Dylan, Gene Clark and Rod Stewart. Bullens has also earned two Grammy nominations, for the debut album “Desire Wire” and as lead vocalist on a track on the “Grease” soundtrack. In 2011, Bullens transitioned from Cindy to Cidny and uses male pronouns. In 2016, he wrote a one-person show about his life called “Somewhere Between: Not an Ordinary Life,” which he’s performed in four states. Last year, Bullens released the album “Walkin’ Through This World,” and he’ll have his acoustic guitar on hand to play a song or two from it. Bullens will be interviewed by Portland Press Herald writer Aimsel Ponti.
