WINTHROP — Gavin Rawstron threw a complete-game two-hitter striking out 13 to lead Oak Hill past Winthrop 7-0 in baseball action Saturday.

Rawstron also had a pair of hits at the plate. Trent Drouin drove in three on two hits and Sam Lindsay had two hits for Oak Hill (6-2).

Winthrop falls to 2-6.

 

RANGELEY 14-18, FOREST HILLS 0-7: Kenny Thompson struck out 12 for the Lakers in a Game 1 win in Rangeley.

Connor Hall and Duncan Irvine each had doubles for Rangeley.

In Game 2, Connor Hall and Kenny Thompson each had three RBIS for the Lakers.

Thompson, Garrett Burgess, Will Brey and Duncan Irvine each had a double for Rangeley (6-0).

Forest Hills falls to 4-5.

OAK HILL/MONMOUTH/LISBON 17, LINCOLN 3: Tiger Hopkins scored eight times in the Raiders win over the Eagles in Wales.

Deandre Daniels had three goals for the Raiders (6-0). Riley Worth and Gabe Samson had a goal and two assists while Ryan Foster, Gavin Leet, Sean Moore, and Jacob Godbout each had a goal in the win.

Wyatt Banks scored twice for Lincoln Academy (1-2) and Nate Coolidge scored once.

LEAVITT 13, CONY 9: Kira Welch belted a three-run homer in the Hornets seven-run fourth inning in a win in Augusta.

Sam Withee had a two-run double in the inning for Leavitt (4-6).

Torrie Webber hit a three-run homer for Cony (1-6) in the sixth inning.

 

ERSKINE 17, MCI 3: Chiara Mahoney and Hailey Acedo had doubles as the Eagles earned the KVAC win in Pittsfield.

Emma Fortin, Kassidy Barrett and Lily Matthews had two hits each for Erskine, while Hannah Huff got the win in the circle.
