AUGUSTA — Kennebec Valley Garden Club and Viles Arboretum plan to hold a plant sale from 9 a.m. to noon Saturday, May 22, at the arboretum at 153 Hospital St.

Hardy perennials and shrubs from club members’ gardens will be for sale at reasonable rates.

The plant sale is a major fundraiser for the garden club, and the proceeds will benefit the Barrows Scholarship Fund and other community activities.
