SOUTH CHINA — Michael Nicholas had two goals and three assists as Erskine beat Lincoln 6-5 in triple overtime for its first boys lacrosse win of the season.

Austin Nicholas added two goals while Nathan Grenier and Brady Kirkpatrick also scored for Erskine (1-8). Casey Kirkpatrick chipped in two assists while Hunter Johnson made 10 saves.

Wyatt Banks led Lincoln (1-4) with four goals and Garrett Day had a goal and an assist. Will Farrell made seven saves.

MADISON 9, WINTHROP 1: Brooke McKenney struck out 16 while allowing one hit, and also hit a home run to lead the Bulldogs to the Mountain Valley Conference victory in Winthrop.

Landyn Landry had three hits, including a triple, for Madison (12-1).

Maddie Perkins had a single and a run for the Ramblers (6-5), while Bella Littler drove in a run.

 

MESSALONSKEE 5, OXFORD HILLS 3: Maddy Card and Kiera Bumford had two hits each as the Eagles took the Kennebec Valley Athletic Conference victory in Oakland.

Bumford also drove in two runs, while Jordan Lambert had a double for Messalonskee (9-1).

Trinity Bernard had three singles for the Vikings, and Haileigh Sawyer had a double.
