The Stanton Bird Club invites artists to participate in a plein air painting session at 10 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 7, at Thorncrag Nature Sanctuary in Lewiston. The event will be hosted by local painter Michael Everett.

Painters will meet at Thorncrag’s Montello Street parking lot. For more information, visit stantonbirdclub.org.

The Stanton Bird Club also has planned a juried art show in 2022 in celebration of the 100th anniversary of Thorncrag. Art inspired by Thorncrag will be featured in the show.
