The club also announced plans for the return of sports programming this fall, the first time since the start of the COVID-19 pandemic. Programs will include soccer, cheering, lacrosse and softball.

Collins, who lives in Pittston, has more than 25 years of experience coaching and directing sports programs. He is a recent National Honor Society graduate of Columbia Southern University, with a bachelor’s degree in sports management and administration.

The Kennebec club is in the final stretch of its $10 million “Great Futures” capital campaign for a new clubhouse. New athletic fields are scheduled for completion by October 2022.
