KENTS HILL — Logan McDonald scored 20 points to spark Kents Hill past Madison 48-43 in a Mountain Valley Conference girls basketball game Monday.

Naomi McGadney added 10 points for Kents Hill (5-2) while Rose Jenkins and Regina Sabirova had six each.

Alison Griffeth led Madison (6-4) with 11 points while Hailey Paquet and Mackenzie Robbins scored eight apiece.

 

CARRABEC 62, OAK HILL 41: Cheyenne Cahill dropped in the game-high 20 points to lead the Cobras to the MVC win in North Anson.

Molly Hay and Courtney Rollins scored 11 and 10 points, respectively, for Carrabec (9-1).

Paige Gonya scored 11 points and Amara Denis had 10 for Oak Hill (3-6).

 

BOYS BASKETBALL

 

LINCOLN 55, WATERVILLE 49: Tucker Stiles’ 15 points and six rebounds helped the Eagles earn the Kennebec Valley Athletic Conference win in Newcastle.

Gabe Hagar finished with 14 points and six rebounds for Lincoln (2-7) while Lucas Houghton had 11 points and seven rebounds.

Waterville’s (1-11) Liam Von Oesen led all scorers with 25 points.

 

MT. ABRAM 74, BOOTHBAY 47: Wyatt Siemenski scored 16 points, including four 3-pointers, to lead the Roadrunners to the MVC win in Salem.

Adam Luce added 13 points for Mt. Abram (6-6) while Trevor Phelps had 12 and Payton Mitchell 11.

Booth bay (4-7) was led by Gryffin Kristan with 16 points and Matt Sullivan with 14.

FOREST HILLS 73, GREENVILLE 53: Mason Desjardins scored 41 points, hauled in 10 rebounds and dished out five assists in three quarters to lead the Tigers to the East/West Conference win in Greenville.

Braidan Welch added 14 points for Forest Hills (12-0).

Liam Mason led Greenville (2-6) with 18 points and Ethan Anderson had 11.
