AUGUSTA — Logan Tyler had five goals and an assist as Cony defeated MCI/Nokomis 19-3 in boys lacrosse action Friday.
Jack Morrill had three goals and two assists, while Kyle Crooker and Nick Geneseo each scored a pair and added an assist. Brodi Freeman, Gabriel Biasuz, Brennan Madore, Sam Cormier and Ray Dineen also had goals, and Elijah Beland made six saves.
Noah Holden, Ryan Robichaud and Hunter Simpson scored for MCI/Nokomis.
GARDINER 11, OXFORD HILLS 2: Cody Dingwell, Cole Brann, Cam Rizzo and Kayden Weston each scored two goals to lead the Tigers to the win in Gardiner.
Cole Johnson, Nate Luiz and Evan Michaud added a goal each for Gardiner (1-0-0) while Braden Dorogi had four assists. Connor Cote made nine saves.
Derek Brooks and Tristan White scored a goal apiece for the Vikings (0-1-0) while Troy Edmunds made 21 saves.
MORSE/BOOTHBAY 12, ERSKINE 7: Owen Tucker scored four goals and Sam Prager and Lucas Hardwick each added three as Morse/Boothbay won a season opener in South China.
Casey Kirkpatrick led Erskine with four goals and two assists while Brady Kirkpatrick and Sam Worthley had a goal each. Hunter Johnson made five saves.
Michael Martin stopped 13 shots for Morse/Boothbay.
MESSALONSKEE 23, MT. BLUE 0: Brady Brunelle and Walker Feagles each scored five goals to lead the Eagles to the win in Oakland.
Bryce Crowell added four goals and two assists for Messalonskee (1-0-0) while Rhys Bridges had three goals and three assists and Ian McCurdy three goals. Cooper Eclair and Simon Bessey had two goals each while Brian Parent and Brady Doucette had one apiece.
