The Western Maine Art Group plans to present a solo exhibition of works “Observation, Perception, Imagination!” by Center Lovell artist Sandra Josephine Bell. In addition, the group’s Main Street Gallery presents artwork from member artists on the theme “Reflections.”

An opening receptions are set for 5-7 p.m. 5-7 p.m. Friday, May 6, at the Matolcsy Art Center, 480 Main St., in Norway, and at the Main Street Gallery, 426 Main St.

Bell is known primarily for her studio and en plein air oil paintings of Kezar Lake and the villages and countryside of Western Maine. Visit her website at kezarstudio.com for a viewing of works.

The exhibition at the MAC will be open Saturdays from noon to 3 p.m. in May, by appointment, and whenever the “OPEN” sign is displayed. The Main Street Gallery is open from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Tuesday to
Friday and 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturdays.
