Kimberly Ann Moreau of Jay was last seen at about midnight on May 9, 1986, after skipping her junior prom following an argument with her boyfriend. She was 17.

Exhaustive searches have since been conducted throughout the state, and officials have said they suspect foul play.

Supporters are encouraged to arrive at 10:45 a.m. Saturday or join the walk into town, which is to conclude with a gathering at the World War II Memorial in front of St. Rose’s School on Church Street.

Those in attendance will be able to make donations toward the reward for information regarding Moreau’s whereabouts or the circumstances of her disappearance.

“Let’s join together for a remembrance of Kimberly, share stories, and show the world we stand strong in our efforts to find out what became of our beloved family and friend,” a statement on the event’s Facebook page said.

Any information regarding Moreau or her disappearance should be given to the Maine State Police Major Crime Unit — South at 207-624-7076.
