Should Congress enact any new gun restrictions in the wake of the Texas school shooting?

Hours after a deadly school shooting in Texas that left at least 19 children dead, President Joe Biden and others were calling for new gun restrictions.

A teenage gunman opened fire Tuesday at Robb Elementary School in Uvalde, Texas, using two assault-style rifles he had recently purchased legally after turning 18 years old.

President Biden, in an address Tuesday night, said “we have to act” and he is “sick and tired” of mass shootings like this. “As a nation, we have to ask, when in God’s name are we going to stand up to the gun lobby?” Biden said.

But what do you think? Do you think new gun restrictions are needed in the wake of this latest shooting? Let us know what you think the poll and comments below.
