FARMINGDALE — Hunter Brissette threw a one-hit shutout to lead Lisbon past Hall-Dale 10-0 in Mountain Valley Conference baseball action Wednesday.

Brissette allowed one hit while striking out 15 and walking one for the Greyhounds (13-0). He also helped his own cause at the plate with three singles and three RBIs. Ethan Brown, Mason Booker and Riley Turner each added two singles.

Max Byron had the lone hit for the Bulldogs (7-7). Keagan Bellerose took the loss on the mound.

 

EDWARD LITTLE 13, MT. BLUE 1: Gavin Levsque had a double and a single while driving in three runs in the Red Eddies six inning win in Farmington.

Brody Keefe and Brady Vincent each had two RBIs in the win for Edward Little (7-8) while Kamden Masselli had two singles in the win.

Hayden Durrell had a pair of singles for Mt. Blue (7-8) and Zak Koban had a double.

 

GARDINER 4, ERSKINE 3: Patrick Mansir, Gavin White and Theron Corliss each had two hits to lead the Tigers to a win over the Eagles in Gardiner.

Zach Kristan earned the win on the mound for Gardiner (2-12).

Erskine falls to 12-2.

LAWRENCE 7, WINSLOW 3: Hunter Lee earned the victory on the mound as the Bulldogs beat the Black Raiders in Fairfield.

Lawrence improves to 11-3.

Andrew Poulin had two hits and two RBIs for Winslow (3-8).

 

BANGOR 7, SKOWHEGAN 5: Silas Tibbetts had two hits for the River Hawks in a loss to the Rams in Skowhegan.

Skowhegan falls to 7-7.

Matt Holmes cracked a home run for Bangor (13-1).

CONY 15, WATERVILLE 9: Bri Madore had two home runs and two singles to lead the Rams to the KVAC win in Augusta.

Sage Fortin added a triple and two singles for Cony (6-7) while also picking up the win in the circle. Torrie Webber added a double and two singles while Jasmine Mace had a double and a single.

Olivia Hanley and Savanna Cormier each doubled for Waterville (4-10).

 

SKOWHEGAN 11, BANGOR 1: Jaycie Christopher had a triple, a double and two RBIs to pace the River Hawks’ offense in a win in Skowhegan.

Rylie Fitzpatrick and Callaway LePage added two singles apiece for Skowhegan (13-1) while Reese Danforth also doubled.

Bangor falls to 8-6.

HALL-DALE 13, LISBON 0, 5 innings: Ashlynn Donahue pitched a two-hitter, retiring 13 straight batters starting in the first inning, and the Bulldogs earned the MVC win in five innings in Farmingdale.

Zoe Soule, who caught the game for Donahue, had a pair of hits, including a double for Hall-Dale (13-0).

Lisbon falls to 6-9.

 

MADISON 10, SPRUCE MOUNTAIN 0: Brook McKenney tossed a no-hitter as the Bulldogs rolled to an MVC win over the Phoenix in Madison.

McKenney added three hits at the plate for Madison (13-1).

Spruce Mountain falls to 4-10.

 

BUCKFIELD 3-2, CARRABEC 1-4: The Cobras (2-11) and Bucks (7-8) each earned a win during a doubleheader in Buckfield.

The Bucks took the opener, 3-1. Carmen Crockett struck out 12 and only allowed two hits for Buckfield. She also had a hit and an RBI.

Cora Brewster also drove in a run for the Bucks. McKenna Ridlon and Abigail Prokey contributed a hit apiece.

The Cobras were victorious, 4-2, in the second game, despite being out-hit 5-3.

MT. BLUE 7, EDWARD LITTLE 6: Caitlin Burke scored the game-winning run when Lexi Belanger was hit by a pitch with bases loaded, and the Cougars (1-13) slipped by the Red Eddies (7-8) to earn their first win of the season in Farmington.

Belanger tallied two hits, two runs, and an RBI, and Burke had two hits and two runs scored for Mt. Blue. Anna Brackett pitched all seven innings and earned the win.

Alexis Kelsea had three hits, scored one run and drove in another for Edward Little, while Maddy Scott contributed two hits, a run and two RBIs.

 

MONMOUTH 13, OAK HILL 3: The Mustangs (11-2) plated six runs in the fourth inning and scored three more in the sixth to wrap up a six-inning MVC win over the Raiders (7-6) in Monmouth.

Brooklyn Federico, the winning pitcher for Monmouth, tallied four hits — a double and three singles — while Rileigh Chase added three, including a double. Kate Laliberte drove in three runs on two singles, and Madi Herr, Taylor Truman and Casey Kaplan each finished with two hits.

Kelsey Young led Oak Hill with two hits.
