FARMINGDALE — Marie Benoit scored a hat trick to lead the Hall-Dale girls soccer team to a 6-0 victory over Buckfield on Tuesday afternoon.

Sierra Gibbons had two goals and an assist for Hall-Dale (2-0), and Hayden Madore added one goal and two assists. The Bulldogs also got two assists from Rita Benoit and one assist from Addison Tinkham.

Kianna Finnegan made 18 saves for Buckfield, which fell to 0-2.

 

WINSLOW 3, CONY 1: Kyri Meak had two goals and an assist as the Black Raiders (1-1) defeated Cony in Winslow for their first win.

Audrey Dolly also scored for Winslow, while Bethanny Blakely and goalkeeper Isabella Flurry had assists. Flurry made 12 saves in net.

MADISON 6, SPRUCE MOUNTAIN 1: Raegan Cowan scored six goals and Addison Belanger had three assists to lead the Bulldogs to the Mountain Valley Conference victory in Madison.

Ella Haynie also scored for the victors.

Abby St. Claire scored three goals to lead Spruce Mountain.

 

BRUNSWICK 4, SKOWHEGAN 0: Molly Tefft scored two goals as the Dragons earned the shutout in Skowhegan.

Hannah Lay and Ella Gustafson also scored for Brunswick (2-0), while keeper Elysia Palmer made five saves. Skowhegan’s (0-2) Natalie Cooke made 20 saves.

 

MT. BLUE 3, CAMDEN HILLS 1: KK Daggett scored a pair of goals as the Cougars rallied for the win in Farmington.

Daggett’s first goal came with four seconds left in the first half, and just over a minute after Camden Hills scored the game’s first goal on a connection from Leah Snyder to Britta Denny. Daggett then gave Mt. Blue (2-0) the lead early in the second half off an assist from Emma Dunn.

Alissa Butterfield scored the Cougars’ third goal off of a Meren Zeliger corner kick.

Mt. Blue’s Caitlin Burke and Camden Hills’ (1-1) Maddy Tohanczyn each made 12 saves for their teams.

NOKOMIS 1, MT. VIEW 0: Kayla Morse’s goal, assisted by Camella Guzzi, lifted the Warriors (2-0) past the Mustangs (0-2) in Thorndike.

Nokomis keeper Hailey Reynolds made eight saves, while Mt. View’s Jordan VonOesen had five.

 

MOUNTAIN VALLEY 2, MT. ABRAM 1: The Falcons (1-1) scored twice in the first half and held on to beat the Roadrunners (0-1) in Rumford.

Emma Clukey and Brooke Chase scored for Mountain Valley. Clukey scored off Emma Koch’s deflected corner kick and Chase finished off a feed from Layce Boucher.

Autumn Pulk scored for Mt. Abram to tie the game 1-1.

 

FIELD HOCKEY

 

EDWARD LITTLE 2, MT. BLUE 1: After Leah Thibodeau tied the game in the fourth quarter, Adrianna Couture found the winner for the Red Eddies in Farmington.

Mt. Blue’s (1-1) Bree Griffin scored first to take a 1-0 lead in the third quarter. Thibodeau scored in the fourth and then assisted on Couture’s goal in the second overtime period.

Kasey Smith made 10 saves for Edward Little (1-1) while Mt. Blue’s Ella Mayhew saved eight.

 

VOLLEYBALL

 

MESSALONSKEE 3, BREWER 0: Candace Pelotte had nine aces and 10 kills for the Eagles in a win over the Witches in Oakland.

Elise McDonald had six aces and 20 assists, while Keira Goldsmith had five aces, six kills and five digs for Messalonskee (1-1).

Brewer falls to 0-2.
