The final show of the season at the Maine Art Gallery at 15 Warren St. in Wiscasset, “Made in Maine,” is a celebration of Maine artists. Many of the artists plan to discuss their work at an opening reception from 2 to 4 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 24, when music will be supplied by guitarist /singer Lisa Redfern.

“Made in Maine” continues through Saturday, Oct. 22. Normal gallery hours are from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Wednesday through Saturday. On Thursday, Sept. 29, the exhibition will be open for Wiscasset Art Walk. Visitors to art walk may visit the gallery until 8 p.m. that day.

Gallery members were invited to submit works that reflect Maine way of life, and the result is a variety of images and mediums.

Exhibit sponsors include Les Fossel Restoration and Sherri Dunbar of Tim Dunham Realty. Cromwell Coastal Properties sponsored season classes.
