Maine State Credit Union has once again placed on the Best Places to Work in Maine list for mid-size companies. This is the 10th year in a row that Maine State Credit Union employees have voted their employer to this list. They first received recognition as one of Maine’s top employers in 2012.

“We are honored to be listed yet again on the Best Places to Work in Maine list,” said Stephen Wallace, president and chief executive officer, according to a news release from the Augusta-based credit union. “Ten consecutive years says a lot about the culture we strive to foster for our employees. There is no credit union without them. Being dedicated to our employees and co-workers means they are dedicated to our members.”

Maine State Credit Union has experienced significant growth and change over the past several years. They recently revamped their digital offerings, changed leadership and are in the process of opening two new branches — one in Gray and the other in Rockland.

“Our growth and service orientation are what make Maine State Credit Union so unique — and so identifiably Maine — even without the namesake,” said Wallace. “A long with the changes in the organization, our culture remains strong, and people are proud to work here. We are humbled to receive this honor once again.”
