CORNVILLE – Patricia Joyce Perkins, 80, passed peacefully in her home on Feb. 21, 2023, surrounded by her children following a hard-fought battle with cancer.

She was born May 29, 1942, to Linwood and Olive Foster and graduated from Skowhegan Area High School in 1960.

She had a lifelong passion for family, faith, and flowers, always seeing brightness in the dimmest of life’s challenges, and never missed an opportunity to play in her flower garden, get into mischief with her friends, or to simply share a story of life growing up on a family farm. She was a gentle soul and will be missed by the many people she touched in her shortened time.

Patricia is survived by her daughter Laurie, daughter Pamela and partner Dan, her son Rick and wife Sandy, as well as grandchildren Rebecca, Chelsie and Lindsey, and great grandchildren Angelina, Colton, Ryker, Mikayla, Taivon and Mayvis. Other important family members include her many nieces and nephews, especially Roland and Kathleen Perkins. She was predeceased by her parents and husband Richard Perkins Sr.

A special thank you to the oncology and Beacon Hospice nurses for their generous care and support in her time of need.

A celebration of life will be held March 19, 2023 at 2 p.m., at the Federated Church, 13 Island Avenue, Skowhegan. A graveside service will be held later this spring.
