A Richmond man on federal probation in connection with a bank robbery was arrested Thursday on several warrants after a multi-agency search resulted in officers finding him hiding in a blueberry field, authorities said.

Albert T. “AJ” Peaslee, 40, was arrested by officers with the Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office, according to a news release Friday from Lt. Michael J. Murphy.
Peaslee was wanted on several charges stemming from domestic violence incidents in Whitefield, Dresden and Richmond, according to the release. The warrants included charges for domestic violence aggravated assault, two counts of domestic violence assault, domestic violence terrorizing, violation of a protective order and criminal mischief.
Peaslee also faces pending charges of robbery, kidnapping and domestic violence aggravated assault, involving alleged incidents occurring within the past few weeks, police said.
Authorities said he was arrested Thursday at 12:50 p.m. off Taylor Road in Windsor by the Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office, which was assisted by the Kennebec County Sheriff’s Office.
“Peaslee was found in his truck in a blueberry field where he is believed to have been hiding for several days,” Murphy said in the release. “He was taken into custody without incident.”
Peaslee was being held at the Two Bridges Regional Jail in Wiscasset on a $100,000 cash bail.
