The Whitefield Lions Club recognizes six local graduating seniors who will receive a $1,000 scholarship towards furthering their education.
They are Erskine Academy’s Caliegh Crocker of Windsor, who plans to attend Husson University’s nursing program; Lincoln Academy’s Carson Hallowell of Jefferson, who plans to attend Eastern Maine Community College’s plumbing program; and Erskine Academy’s Nolan Burgess of Whitefield, who plans to attend the University of Maine at Orono for education in memory of Ron Kenoyer of Whitefield.
Also, Erskine Academy’s Reese Sullivan of Windsor, who plans to attend Husson University studying forensic science; Erskine Academy’s Tara Hanley of Vassalboro, who plans to attend UMaine to become a dietitian; and Lincoln Academy’s Abigail Kopp of Jefferson, who plans to attend Endicott College, majoring in exercise science with the plan of attending graduate school for physical therapy.
