INDUSTRY — Two Franklin County men were arrested Sunday and charged with burglarizing a residence on Industry Road, according to Sheriff Scott Nichols Sr.
Franklin County Deputy Isaac Wacome responded to report about 1 p.m. Sunday.
After investigating the scene, Brandon Moody, 27, of Temple was arrested on a charge of burglary, Nichols said in a news release.
Another suspect, Joshua Allen, 39, of New Sharon, fled the scene in a black Toyota pickup, which was stopped on Stanley Road in Farmington. With him was Joshua Pollis, 37, of Farmington, who drove off in the truck, Nichols said.
Allen was arrested on a charge of burglary.
On Monday, deputies received information that Pollis was at a residence on New Vineyard Road in Farmington. Deputies surrounded the residence and called Pollis out and arrested him. He was taken to Franklin Memorial Hospital in Farmington to be treated for preexisting medical issues, Nichols wrote.
He was issued a summons on charges of refusing to submit to arrest or detention, refusing to stop for an officer, receiving stolen property and driving as a habitual offender, Nichols wrote.
Deputies are continuing the investigation and more charges may be coming, he said.
Allen and Moody were held overnight at the Franklin County Detention Center. They were to appear before a judge on Monday for an initial appearance for bail to be set.
A conviction on the burglary charge carries a maximum penalty of 10 years and up to a $20,000 fine.
NOTE: Joshua Allen is of New Sharon. His residence town was incorrectly reported.
