WALES — Sophomores Grace Behne and Madalyn Sikora each scored three goals for the Oak Hill field hockey team in a 7-0 MVC victory over Telstar on Wednesday.
Chloe Bolduc tallied Oak Hill’s (2-0) other goal. Behne, Sikora and Bolduc each had one assist, as did Olivia French and Saryn Blais. Raiders goalie Ella Martin stopped all four shots she faced.
Oak Hill kept Telstar (0-2) goaltender Cadie Campbell, forcing her to make 35 saves.
GIRLS SOCCER
BUCKFIELD 9, CARRABEC 1: Brittany Carrier netted six goals to lead the Bucks’ onslaught in their victory in Buckfield.
Chloee Bennett also made an impact, scoring two goals and assisting on two others for Buckfield (2-0). Taylor Harvey finished with one goal and one assist, while Kai Trenweth tallied two assists and Anna Thone had one.
Carrabec falls to 0-2.
LEAVITT 2, CONY 0: Reese Bilodeau and Abby Sirois scored unassisted second-half goals as the Hornets won in Turner.
Bilodeau scored on a breakaway with 14:01 left in the second half to snap a scoreless tie. Sirois added the insurance goal with 11:02 left.
Hailey Welch made one save in goal for Leavitt (0-2), while Emma Buccelto had seven for Cony (0-2).
TEMPLE ACADEMY 6, SEARSPORT 0: Senior Dixie Szabo had four goals and an assist as the Bereans (2-0) won in Waterville.
Mia Fitzpatrick had a goal and an assist for Temple Academy (2-0), and Karis Louis also scored. Madelyn Corey, Lucy Bonacci, Carmen Corey and Izzy Tompkins each had an assist.
Karissa DeWitt made two saves in goal for the Bereans. Searsport fell to 0-2.
MONMOUTH ACADEMY 3, SPRUCE MOUNTAIN 1: Kaitlyn Frost scored twice to help the Mustangs win in Monmouth.
Riley Smith also scored for Monmouth (1-1). Tarynn Keleher, Rileigh Chase and Annabelle Carlton each had an assist.
Ashley Nelson scored for Spruce Mountain (0-2), and goalie Tyoaka Hodgkin made five saves.
DIRIGO 4, RANGELEY 2: Sophomore Sophia Nino notched her first career hat trick to lead the Cougars past the Lakers in Dixfield.
Rangeley (2-1), which won the teams’ matchup last week 2-1, took a 2-0 lead in this one thanks to a pair of first-half goals from Nichole Lemay.
Dirigo (1-1) senior Cami Wright scored off an assist from Nino, and then Nino dribbled past four defenders to tie the score at 2-2 with eight minutes remaining the opening half. Nino added two unassisted goals late in the second half.
