After 25 years as a military spouse, I settled in Richmond. Since moving, I had not yet had a chance to register to vote.
A few weeks ago, Sally Cluchey knocked on our door. I did not meet her that day, but she left her number. I called Sally and invited her over for tea, which she gladly accepted.
Sally spent an hour and a half at my house compassionately listening to my concerns and taking extensive notes. The next day, she was making calls and sending emails on my behalf. That was over a month ago. She has been in contact several times since to share updates, even calling me once from her son’s soccer game.
I am now registered to vote, and I am excited to vote to reelect Sally Cluchey as my representative in Augusta. Sally is in politics for the right reasons. She actually cares.
