MADISON — Nathan Cornforth’s layup with 2.2 seconds left in overtime Monday gave the Madison boys basketball team a 50-48 victory over Dirigo.
Cornforth scored a game-high 20 points for Madison (3-3), which came back from a 15-point deficit in the fourth quarter to win. Brayden Furbush added 18 points and eight rebounds for the Bulldogs.
Nathaniel Wainwright scored 15 points to lead Dirigo. Owen Smith had 14 for the Cougars (4-2).
