Lauryn Moore scored the tying goal midway through the second half as Skowhegan extended its unbeaten streak Friday but had its 10-game winning streak snapped in a 1-1 girls soccer tie against Messalonskee in Oakland.
Grace McKay gave Messalonskee (4-5-2) a 1-0 lead late in the first half.
Natalie Cooke made six saves for Skowhegan (10-0-1). Eagles goalie Kiana Carrier stopped 11 shots.
FIELD HOCKEY
HALL-DALE/MONMOUTH 6, WELLS 0: Hannah Rauch recorded two goals and an assist, leading the Bulldogs (7-3-1) over the Warriors (1-10-1) in Farmingdale.
Maddie Coro, Abby Labonte, Sidney Kelleher and Natalie James also scored. Hall-Dale goalie Maia Cote didn’t have to make a save.
Carys Ramsey had 18 saves for Wells.
