Adrianna Smith recorded a double-double and the University of Maine beat UMBC 58-43 in an America East women’s basketball game Thursday in Orono.
Smith scored 19 points and grabbed 11 rebounds for the Black Bears (7-9, 2-1 America East). She also had six assists.
Asta Blauenfeldt and Sarah Talon both added 13 points for Maine.
Heidi Williams led the Retrievers (5-8, 0-2) with 16 points.
