Ty Myers: The Legal Tour

The Bowl in the Pines Amphitheater is set to host Ty Myers: The Legal Tour at 6:30 p.m. Thursday at 1 Geranium Lane in Sidney.

The singer-songwriter-guitarist quickly commanded attention after delivering his acclaimed debut album, “The Select,” earning three RIAA certifications including his first platinum hit with “Ends of the Earth.” 

Set to make his Stagecoach debut and support Luke Combs’ My Kinda Saturday Night Tour at stadiums this spring, he’s previously opened for Randy Rogers Band, Wade Bowen, Old Dominion, Tim McGraw and Willie Nelson, among others.

Rockport Donut Festival

Make the trek to experience the Rockport Donut Festival Friday and Saturday in Marine Park at Rockport Harbor, Pascal Avenue.

The two-day event is filled with doughnut-themed festivities, pays homage to the history of the doughnut and will kick-off the summer off with music, food and more.

Whoopie Pie Festival

The 2026 Maine Whoopie Pie Festival is scheduled from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday at the Piscataquis Valley Fairgrounds in Dover-Foxcroft. This annual event, celebrating Maine’s official state treat, features dozens of bakers, hundreds of whoopie pie varieties, live music, and family-friendly activities.

Dave Wakefield

Blues legend Dave Wakefield plans to take the stage at 7:30 p.m. Sunday at Johnson Hall Opera House, 280 Water St. in Gardiner.

Celebrate Wakefield’s 79th birthday with the release of his new CD “Turnpike Crows.” He will be joined by The Boneheads as his backline, and a cast of some of Maine’s vintage local players.

Wakefield got his start as a teenager in the 1960s playing music with The Nomads and Euphoria’s Id (known as “The Id”) and released two single rock covers of “Hey Joe” and “Morning Dew” in 1967.
