Recent Scarborough High graduate Isabelle Harmon and Bonny Eagle junior Drew Gervais were named the Gatorade Maine Track and Field girls and boys athletes of the year recently.
Harmon won the girls 100-meter hurdles (15.49 seconds) and the high jump (5-foot-2) at the Class A championship meet to help the Red Storm claim the team title. She also finished second in the pole vault (10-6) and fifth in the long jump (17-2). She went on to win the high jump (5-7) at the New England championships.
Harmon will compete at the University of Connecticut next season.

Gervais won the boys 100 (11.07) and 200 (21.84) at the Class A championships, and ran on the Scots’ 400 relay team that finished third. At the New England championships, he won the 100 (10.78) and was sixth in the 200 (22.21).
