The Farmington Fair is underway this week, bringing agricultural traditions, midway rides, livestock, harness racing and entertainment to the Farmington Fairgrounds.

The 185th annual fair runs through Saturday at 292 High St. Activities include livestock exhibits, animal pulling events, 4-H activities, exhibit halls and a large midway. Harness racing is scheduled throughout the week, with races beginning at 1:30 p.m. each day.

Monday is the fair’s annual Ag Day, an educational program for students in kindergarten through fourth grade focusing on agriculture, conservation and the environment. Other highlights this week include a youth auction Wednesday, truck and tractor pulls Friday and a demolition derby Saturday.

The fair is organized by the Franklin County Agricultural Society.
