Phil Pressey will return for a second season as the Maine Celtics head coach, the team announced Thursday.
Pressey is the first head coach to return for a second season with the Maine Celtics since Brandon Bailey was promoted to the Boston Celtics coaching staff after the 2018-19 season. Maine went 27-23 and reached the NBA G League playoffs for the fourth straight season.
Pressey replaced Tyler Lashbrook, who lead Maine to a 29-21 record in 2024-25 and a berth in the Eastern Conference finals before moving up to the Boston Celtics coaching staff.
Also returning to Maine this season are assistant coaches Mike Malat and Boaz Mensah. Devin Sweetney, Jacob Kester and Rich Kelly are joining the team’s staff.
