Thank you for the Sept. 27 op-ed “Free Maine’s yards from political yard signs,” by David Stein. I agree wholeheartedly. While we are at it, let’s ban political flyers from the USPS. I have taken at least three a day out of my mailbox for over a month and immediately threw them in the recycle bin without looking at them.
The post office is having a difficult time just getting mail I want delivered to my box — they don’t need the extra work.
If people want to know where the candidates stand, they should read a newspaper.
