An Atlantic pollock sits on ice at the Portland Fish Exchange. East Coast fishermen, processors and dealers want to rebrand the Atlantic pollock to distinguish it from Alaska pollock, a fish known for its use in fishsticks and catfood. One proposed name is the “Boston blue.”
