JAY — Madison scored four runs in the sixth and two in the seventh to post a 9-6 win against Spruce Mountain on Monday and remain unbeaten in Mountain Valley Conference play.

For Madison (5-0), winning pitcher Emily McKenney singled and doubled while Alex Jarvais singled twice and Kayla Booker and Erica Parker each hit solo homers.

Ashley Dorey singled and homered for Spruce Mountain (3-2) while Loriana Tracy and Ashley Robbins each singled twice.

Waterville 5, Belfast 1: Danielle Jacques and Lindsey St. Claire each went 2 for 3 as the Panthers beat the Lions in a Kennebec Valley Athletic Conference Class B game in Waterville.

Allie Forkey pitched a complete game to earn the win for Waterville (3-2). She allowed one run on seven hits, while striking out six and walking one.

Katrina Lapham had two singles for Belfast (0-5).

Oceanside 1, Winslow 0: Rachel Frye struck out 13 and allowed just one hit to lead Oceanside in to a KVAC B win in Winslow.

Frye allowed a leadoff single to Jess Perry in the bottom of the first inning and then held Winslow (3-3) hitless the rest of the way.

Natalie Russell had an RBI triple in the top of the first inning to give Oceanside (5-0) the only run it would need.

Mt. Abram 10, Telstar 5: Lily Taylor had a double and a triple as the Roadrunners beat the Rebels in an MVC game in Salem.

Alex Howard earned the win for Mt. Abram (2-1).

Rachel Wheeler had two singles for Telstar (1-1).

Erskine 14, Mt. Ararat 2: Meryl Bond hit a home run and had two RBIs to lead Erskine to the KVAC A win in Topsham.

Alyssa Gartley earned the victory, pitching a complete game and allowing just one hit. She also had two singles.

Mikhaela Helm had three singles and a double for Erskine (5-0). Emma Robertson and Ashley Green each had two hits.

Mountain Valley 17, Carrabec 9: Brooke Dolloff had two doubles as the Falcons beat the Cobras in an MVC game in North Anson.

Kirstin Ridge added two singles and two doubles for Mountain Valley (3-1).

Chantal Diamond had two singles and two stolen bases for Carrabec (0-3), while Adrianna Cossaboom added two singles.

Lawrence 10, Mt. Blue 0: Sarah Martin pitched a two-hit shutout as the Bulldogs defeated the Cougars in Farmington.

Martin walked only one batter for Lawrence (1-4). Megan Moen and Bri Emery each had two hits.

Mt. Blue dropped to 1-4.

Maranacook 11, Mt. View 1: Sarah Boynton pitched a one-hitter and walked three to lead the Black Bears to the KVAC Class B win in Readfield. Nicole Smith led the offense with a bses-loaded triple. Maranacook is 3-2, Mt. View is 0-6.

Girls lacrosse

Messalonskee 13, Morse 9: Sara Grenier had four goals and an assist as the Eagles beat the Shipbuilders in a KVAC B game in Bath.

Mara Balboni added three goals, while Sidney Gagne had two assists for Messalonskee (2-2). Kristy Bernatchez and Haley Pelletier each had one goal and Mikayla Turner had two assists. Izzy Skinner earned the win with 10 saves.

Tori Field had four goals, while Alison Miller and Lauren Crosby each had two for Morse (0-2).
