Voters of Fairfield and Norridgewock have an opportunity to reelect an outstanding and experienced county commissioner to Somerset County’s Board of County Commissioners: Robert Sezak of Fairfield.
Robert is knowledgeable of both town and county governmental responsibilities and has served our communities well in his roles on the Fairfield Town Council and during two terms on the Somerset County Board of Commissioners. He understands the challenges facing Somerset County in regard to public safety and services for residents. He is mindful of unchecked public spending and of the forces that drive up costs for counties; he will continue to advocate for using county taxes wisely and for the public good. Join me in voting to reelect Sezak.
Somerset County voters are also encouraged to vote “yes” on the county referendum question regarding the process of filling the position of Somerset County Register of Deeds. A yes vote will permit the Board of Commissioners to appoint a Register of Deeds following a competitive hiring process.
