Goodbye, Pat Kaloustian.

I am just one of many who were encouraged by Kaloustian’s civic and patriotic spirit, but I have a strong personal reason.

Kaloustian’s promotion of the first Independence Day parade since World War II lead directly to the creation of the Youth Band of Greater Augusta, commonly known as The Blue Jeans Band.

The three years the band was in existence gave great joy to the founding family and all the members.
