Early voting, in 2014 and 2010

Both parties are working to boost voter turnout, and so far Democrats are ahead of Republicans in the absentee ballot count.

Maine as a whole had 25,774 fewer voters registered in June 2014 than in November 2010. Nevertheless, the total number of ballots cast before Election Day this year is on trend to exceed early voting from 2010.
