Cellardoor Winery in Lincolnville hired two artists with ties to Maine to design its latest wine labels.

Ferrell, of Falmouth, at work on a painting. For the Cellardoor piece, she painted iron gates, incorporating influences including a photo winemakers Aaron and CC Peet snapped in France and architectural features from her own Southern upbringing.
