The 790-foot cargo ship El Faro
A search team found the wreckage of the El Faro at a depth of about 15,000 feet near its last known location off the Bahamas.
A refrigeration unit that washed ashore in the Bahamas was linked to the El Faro. The serial number from the piece of debris was matched with a tracking number on the customer portal on TOTE Maritime's website.
