The caption for this photograph reads: "Svetlandsky Street looking East, Coronation Week, 1896 [sic]." The large building is the "old" Kunst & Albers, with Dom Smith visible to its upper right. Note the large garland displayed on the second-floor veranda, as part of the celebrations The Admiral's House with its St. Andrew's Flag may be discerned on the other side of the street.
