Sherman Carey, left, and his sister Nancy Parry happened upon Bill Bois, who was a friend of the siblings’ murdered brother, during the Central Maine Family Christmas Dinner held at the Elks Club in Waterville on Thursday. Parry, who lives in Farmingdale, caught a ride to the dinner to connect with her brother, and while there, the two ran into Bois, a mentor to their brother, Edward, who was murdered in Waterville in 1982.
